Today we hopped in some land rovers again and took a trip along the coast. Sardinia has a lot of flamingos that like to hang out in the shallow inlets near the coast and we saw a bunch of them while driving. We drove through the mountains and the roads were very bumpy. We stopped at the top for a panoramic view and it was SO windy. Like so windy it was knocking people over.
Then we drove to a farmhouse where we learned how to make cheese and looked at their farm animals. We had another obnoxiously long, multi-course Italian meal, which was delicious but I’m growing tired of the Italian style of eating. There’s a lot of time between courses and they always bring out meat last. I have no patience for this.
No cats were seen on this outing but the farmhouse did have a very small dog.
I also found a nice patch of grass to practice my tumbling.
(idk if these videos are going to work)
After a very long lunch, we drove to the beach. The drive itself was fun because the coastline was so beautiful.
The beach was fine. We’ve gone to a lot of beaches so this one wasn’t super exciting. I didn’t do any swimming because we got there pretty late in the afternoon so it wasn’t hot out and the water was cold. I just walked along the beach and did some more tumbling in the sand. I don’t have a video of that.
Then we went drove back to Cagliari and I wrote this post (which is not required for class).
Buona Notte!
